Kelly Skiles

Kelly lives in suburban Chicago where she attends New Community Covenant Church and is the director of student life and leadership at Judson University . When not at work, church or sleeping, she enjoys spending time with her husband Mark and wiener dog mix, Chili, teaching dance, reading anything by Dan Allendar, and eating desserts.

At some point in our stories, the intersection of our gender and call to leadership collide. For some, it’s a calling that they—and others—embrace and celebrate at its onset. For others, it’s a source of confusion and anguish. Join us for a conversation about the wonder and complexities of being a female leader in the church and in life. Together, we’ll peel back this layered topic as we discuss the different ways to lead, how female leadership differs from male leadership, and how to live our lives stewarding this gift God gave to us.
