You can check out the play-by-play of each Big Room session on the YS Blog - remember that we have constant updates and streaming over the weekend!

But some of my personal highlights were (in no particular order!)

- Hearing amazing feedback from the Novelli’s Intensive Lab, talking about story, narrative and their own experiences. ]
- Big Room speakers - Tony Campolo is always compelling, Donald Miller highlights the vital importance of Story, Liz Murray has a truly remarkable story that highlights the importance of our care and concern for teenagers.
- Listening to the stories of some of the amazing volunteers that form part of our staff at NYWC. If you have the opportunity, these are some of the most amazing people you’ll meet all weekend!
- Talking briefly with Zach Exley (Lab presenter) about some of the observations he made of church, culture and influence as he was a “new believer”. Fascinating, insightful perceptions!
- Youth Ministry Consultants & Convention Pastors on site for the whole week, the calibre of these folks both in education and praxis is such a blessing for youthworkers.
- Nada was a great place to eat downtown.
- I really enjoyed talking with women in youth ministry about our hopes, dreams, struggles and solutions - so we’re doing it again in Atlanta!

I am new to full time, paid ministry. Before the conference I was questioning my influence and whether or not I was in the right place.  Things were affirmed for me here, I felt at rest and am going home equipped, challenged, and encouraged.  I can breathe again!
